Saving energy and developing renewable energy are two ideas whose time has come. It will eventually allow us to end our dependence on foreign oil and make significant reductons in the amount of carbon we release into the atmosphere. There is abundant evidence now that nothing is more vital to healthy communities than clean air and water.

Everyone has a role to play in this effort. We don't have to wait on the government to act. In fact, it's imperative that we lead the way in our local communities—and insist that government officials at all levels do their part.

We currently have two projects on the table that include supporting farmers in rural N.C. by utilizing solar energy for small-scale portions of their farms. This program is not fully developed and we are looking for passionate, committed individuals to support this effort and possibly others.
